Frequently asked questions
How do I pay, and in what currency?
Payments are processed by Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards through Stripe's checkout. All prices, fees and refunds are in US dollars.
You can also pay in your local currency — at checkout Stripe converts the price to your currency, and that price already includes any conversion. If you choose to pay in US dollars instead of your local currency, your bank or card issuer may apply a conversion charge.
Prices shown on this page are exclusive of taxes. We are currently not registered for GST/HST or BC PST, so no such taxes are added at checkout. If we register, the applicable tax will be shown separately before payment.
Can I get a refund?
First-time subscriptions: you may cancel and request a full refund within 7 days of your subscription confirmation.
After that: cancelling stops future renewals, so you won't be charged again. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
If the problem is ours: we will refund in full, or pro-rata by downtime, if paid content is not delivered due to our error, or if a technical failure on our side prevents access for more than 72 consecutive hours and is not resolved within a reasonable time. No trading losses or consequential damages are covered.
Will my subscription renew automatically?
Yes. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel — monthly subscriptions every calendar month, annual subscriptions every 12 months. Your payment method is charged when we process each renewal.
For annual subscriptions we send a renewal notice at least 30 days before each renewal date, showing the renewal price, the renewal date and how to cancel. If you cancel before the renewal date, no further annual charge is made.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel at any time from your account. Go to your account dashboard and use the cancellation option in your account settings, then follow the on-screen prompts to confirm. Cancellation takes effect once the in-account confirmation is displayed, and it stops all future renewals.
After cancelling, your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Which markets are covered?
We cover four markets: US, Hong Kong, Japan, and China (A-shares).
The single-market plan gives you full access to the one market you choose. The All 4 markets plan unlocks all four at once — and you can change plans later.
Does Valmentum give investment advice?
No. Valmentum is a research and screening tool, not an advisory service. We are not investment, financial, tax or legal advisors or broker-dealers, and nothing on the site is personalised advice to you.
All content is provided for information and education only. It is your responsibility to evaluate any information before acting on it, and trading securities carries a high degree of risk of financial loss. Yes. A subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the paid content for your own personal, non-commercial research. You may not copy, rent, sell, publish, share, broadcast or otherwise redistribute the content, or make it available to the public, except as permitted under the Copyright Act (Canada).
